An Omen of Birds
It is becoming very clear that this PhotoBlog is going to be good for my health, and encourage family time. Tonight after dinner my wife, son, and I headed out to the newly finished Kaw River State Park. David ran, and ran, giggled, ran, played with his truck in the dirt. In spite of Davids protests, we left and headed out to the MacLennan Park Trails at Cedar Crest (Governor’s Mansion).
Had a great family stroll… then… A cloud of birds dashed past headed south, then whipped back around to toward us. The shot of the day really turned out in a very end-of-world evil bird kinda manner. I pondered posting a rather dark scripture from Revelation, but opted for a more pleasant, uplifting verse.
Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? (Matthew 6:26 ESV)
