Like Vinegar on Soda

Sometimes the greatest, and usually abstract, pictures come when you least expect it. Today following church, we had enjoyed a “quiet” (as quiet as it could be with a 2 and 3 year old) lunch with our friends Heather & Daniel. I snapped this quick shot during lunch – thanks to Carino’s Italian restaurant for the colorful glass which became my subject.

The staff must have had foreknowledge about our children, as they seated us in our own little room. We felt special, like celebrities. It really was them protection the other patrons.

I am sure this leaves you yearning for more knowledge all about oil & vinegar’s history.  It is also good to know that Olive Oil makes really poor engine oil, however, it apparently makes the body run smoother. Who knew?

Whoever sings songs to a heavy heart is like one who takes off a garment on a cold day, and like vinegar on soda. (Proverbs 25:20 ESV)
