Enforcement… on 2 wheels

My wife & I took our kids to boo-it-downtown tonight in Topeka. It’s fun to see the costumes that people come up with. Anyway, in my travels I came upon a very long line of law enforcement motorcycles. I know enough about our local constabulary to know we don’t own that many. After speaking with a few officers I find they are from many jurisdictions and are here for some 2-wheeled training at Heartland Park Topeka.

The most interesting bikes belonged to the Johnson County, KS Sheriff department. These were matte black cycles with light reflective emblems. (Here is an image of a full bike (by others) http://i.imgur.com/x4iy3W5.jpg). These are an american made bike by Victory. Here is more information on the brand. http://www.victorypolicemotorcycles.com/vpm-policedepartments.html. Below is how the emblem returns the light from my flash.
